I have this list. A list of silly dreams. Boyhood fantasylike things.

I have them for a very particular reason. Not because theyare S.M.A.R.T. formulated goals. Not because they are proof of the existence oflogic, structure or feasibility in my head. Not because they would help tocreate an image of seriousness, down-to-earth'ness or whatever would come closeto being recognized as a normal functioning adult.

I have that list for one reason and one reason only: itmakes me smile.

It fills me with that feeling I had when I was 5 and finallyallowed to open my Christmas presents. It gives me that "what-if"kind of thrill. You know, the one we used to live on but have forgottensomewhere along the way. I have it because I have the fundamental human rightto dream.

So here it is, in no particular order:

Go on a shopping spree with Tina Turner and share acoffee afterwards

 I don't know Tina Turner. I know her music, but I wouldn'tknow who she is as a person.

And no, I'm not the stalking kind. In fact I never got theidol thing, you know, worship like adoration. I never got that. Frankly, Idon't see the difference between the professional accomplishments of TinaTurner or, say, my baker's. He makes great croissants and gets up at 3 AM to makethem. But I wouldn't start screaming or ask for his signature when I see him.

Same thing with Tina Turner. I admire her as an artist, butI wouldn't go all overboard if she were sitting next to me. I wouldn't ask fora picture, autograph or any of that. I would smile at her and nod,acknowledging her for her achievements, just as I do when I see my baker.

But, then why this dream? I don't know really. For somereason, she just seems like a fun person to go shopping with and share acoffee. Period.

There's nothing more to it than that. And the idea…makes mesmile.

Get a helicopter pilot license

I looked up the price of helicopter flying lessons the otherday. OMG, this is friggin' expensive. And in my case it wouldn't serve anyimmediate purpose. But in the back of my head, just the idea of being able tofly a helicopter…wow.

So why not? Why not let the idea itself get my head in theclouds for just a split second every now and then. No harm done, right.

And who knows…one day…(smiling again)

Have "Pinching the Ostrich" recognized as anofficial saying in the Oxford dictionary

Why would that be cool? Because it would mean that beatingthe assumptions we have about what we are not capable of, would be rooted inour language.

And maybe, just maybe, that way it might be rooted in how welive our lives.

There is little that fills me with more joy than the idea ofpeople who are able to pull their head out of the sand and recognize themselvesfor who they really are: creative beings, choice creators, human beings with agusto for life that is bigger than life itself.

What if, what if all of us were at it, pinching,discovering, growing.

To live and work in the "Inspired House"

I imagine a house, beautiful surroundings, nature, silence,fresh air…home. It's a not just a nice house, it's a place that has inspirationin every brink and board. A house that allows you to get in touch with yourcreativity, your passion, your love for life.

Every single room has a different story, every book,cupboard, chair, painting, garden trail…invites you to rediscover why you dowhat it is you do. To rediscover meaning and joy. Not because you have to, butbecause it welcomes you and allows you to be who ever you need to be right thenand there.

I can see the rooms, hear the cracking floor boards, smellwhat's coming from the kitchen, feel the wind from the open window. It'sauthum. But the summer hasn't figured that out yet. It's that time of yearwhere your skin feel that the sun is loosing grip, but clings to those finalfew days of gentle summer warmth.

People are welcome there, to join in whatever it is wheredoing, or not. They can stay as long as they want or as long as they need. Theinspired house will always be there for them.

I've put in a picture of the Damali lavender farm onVancouver Island, because it was the first and only time so far that I saw andexperienced a place that knew what I am talking about. The house knows.

It makes no sense what so ever, which is exactly why nothinghas ever made more sense than this

The list of silly dreams goes on. But some of them are formy eyes, mind and heart only. Privately cherishing them is where they are attheir best. For now. Because, what if, one fine day. You never know.
