This was one fine week. I just loved getting started on the Arts study. We dealt with Cleopatra this week and how her reputation was formed and changed over the ages. Very intriguing. And when doing a study like this one, it can't come as a surprise that my artist's date this week was in a museum. Although it wasn't the most obvious one. It was the Tate Britain in London.
I hopped on the Eurostar yesterday and was lucky enough to enjoy an early spring day on and about Covent Garden, after which I attended a very inspiring discussion on the nature of Creativity with Berys Gaut, reader in philosophy from the University of St. Andrews and Tom Lubbock, art critic and illustrator. Very illuminating. Just a perfect day, closing a splendid week.

That's not a perfect score, I know, but it beats the snot out of last week's. Plus, I'm finally getting some speed reading work done (pat on the back) and the garage is all but turned into my own little private lab. All it needs is the airco ptoperly installed and my private little hideaway is finished. (second pat on the back)
Another thing. I'm getting near the end of my 5k run challange. Only 6 more morning runs - which is roughly two weeks - and I'm there. (third pat on the back)
See you next week somwhere in between reading Doctor Faustus, introducing 60 college students to the realm of creative thinking, three workouts, as many runs and so on and so forth.
The only one complaining so far? The TV-set that hasn't seen me that much lately.
